March 30th is the annual observation of National Doctor’s Day! Take the chance to thank your doctor for providing healthcare, working long hours and helping others with their medical needs. MIJA would like to say “thank you” to all the doctors out there for all that they do!
National Doctor’s Day first started on March 30, 1933 by Dr. Charles B Almond’s wife, Eudora Brown Almond. She wanted a day to honor doctors so she mailed out greeting cards and placed flowers on graves of deceases doctors. A red carnation is the symbol for National Doctors Day.
